Chorus AI, for The Pentecostal Mission, Thombilipalayam · last updated 30 August 2026
Chorus AI is a private app for one church. It is not open to the public, and nothing in it is sold, rented or shared for advertising. This page says plainly what it holds and why.
What signing in gives us
Signing in with Google tells us two things about you: your email address and the name on your Google account. Nothing else. We do not ask for access to your Gmail, contacts, files, calendar or photos, and we could not read them if we wanted to.
Your email address is how the app knows who you are. Your name is shown to administrators so they can tell one volunteer from another.
What the app stores
- Your account: email, name, role, and which areas of the app an administrator has opened to you.
- Song sheets: the sheets prepared for services, and which songs are on them.
- Songs: the church's own songbooks, and corrections made to them.
- A record of actions: who signed in, who added a song, who changed someone's access. This is so an administrator can see what happened to the church's own material.
Favourites and your appearance and language preferences are kept on your own device and are not sent to us.
The study aid
When you ask for an explanation of a song, the text of that song and your question are sent to Cloudflare's AI service to generate an answer. Your name and email are not sent with it. Answers are not stored.
Shared links
A link to a song sheet can be opened by anyone who has it, without signing in. It shows that one sheet and nothing else: not the library, not the history, not anyone's account. Links can be set to expire, and can be revoked.
Who can see your information
Administrators of this church's app can see the accounts on it. Nobody outside the church has access. We do not sell or share information with anyone, and there is no advertising in the app.
Where it is kept
On Cloudflare's infrastructure, which hosts the app and its database.
Removing your information
Ask an administrator to remove your access and your account is deleted. Song sheets already prepared for services remain, as church records.
